Cartoon Network Programming Highlights - August 2018

Greetings from Cartoon Network!

This August, Cartoon Network will be launching not one, but two new shows for double the fun! Follow Craig, JP, and Kelsey on their wild and wacky adventures on Craig of the Creek starting from 25th August (Saturday) @ 1.00pm on the weekends! Other than that, fans of the Running Man series can also keep up with their favourite stars in Runningman Animation, starting from 11th August (Saturday) @ 1.30pm every weekend!

Also, remember to mark your calendars for a special episode of We Bare Bears – Lil’ Squid, starting from 9th August (Thursday) @ 9.00am. Don’t forget to also keep up with The Powerpuff Girls & We Bare Bears pair up special from 25th August (Saturday) onwards, weekends @ 10.00am and Adventure Time, Tomorrow on 9th August (Thursday) @ 1.00pm.

CRAIG OF THE CREEK | Brand New Show

Grab your toilet-paper sword and follow best friends Craig, JP, and Kelsey as they explore their neighbourhood creek — a boundless, kid-run world full of colourful characters that fosters new imaginative adventures every day.

WE BARE BEARS – LIL’ SQUID | Special ‘Merlion’ Episode

Starts 9^th August, Thursday 9.00am

The Baby Bears build a submarine and explore the depths of an aquarium so they can bring a lost squid to its family.

ADVENTURE TIME, TOMORROW  | Brand New Story Arc

9^th August, Thursday 1.00pm

In this four-part epic saga, Jake and Finn have always been the best of friends, spending their days fighting wrongs and battling evil in the land of Ooo. They truly are a perfect pair but what happens if they become separated? Not just in distance but in time and dimensions? In this brand-new story arc, we see Jake ponder his future and furiously search for Finn as he enters a traverse space with multiple dimensions. How will Jake navigate through the portals without the help of his best friend?

RUNNINGMAN ANIMATION | Brand New Show

Starts Saturday 11^th August to Sunday 16^th September, Weekends 1.30pm

The Soul Tree, the great source of our race. But for its ultimate power and by those whose minds were blinded by it, it also became the catastrophic cause that had brought never-ending wars between the tribes. Tortured by the agonies of the wars, the leaders of the tribes finally came to a peace agreement that they would instead open a competition. Players, equipped with special watches and shields, compete against each other as winner’s tribe would be awarded with Materion, the sacred fruit of the Soul Tree.

These brave players, who throw themselves in this fierce fight, we call them the Runningman.

THE POWERPUFF GIRLS & WE BARE BEARS | Pair Up! Special

Saturdays 25^th August onwards, Weekends 10.00am

This month our favourite three sisters are paired with our favourite three brothers in a super fun special.

The city of Townsville may be a beautiful, bustling metropolis, but don’t be fooled! There’s evil afoot! And only three things can keep the bad guys at bay: Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup, three super-powered little girls, known to their fans (and villains everywhere) as THE POWERPUFF GIRLS.

In We Bare Bears, we see the three brother bears awkwardly attempt to find their place in civilized society, whether they're looking for food, trying to make human friends, or scheming to become famous on the internet.
